Howard still treats Aboriginal people as second class citizens

The Australian Prime Minister John Howard is prepared to make a half-baked apology to Australia's mortgage borrowers for soaring interest rates in order to prop up a few more votes in his faltering election campaign.

But when it comes to the Aboriginal people of Australia who have been treated so badly by successive governments since 1788, John Howard is still not prepared to utter one word of humility, regret or apology.
